If this book was not required by class I would not read it, and I strongly suggest any Nursing professors/academia faculty to not use this book to educate nursing students. The chapters are LONG and BORING! I can understand having long chapters, as the chapters were long in many college courses I have taken, such as A&P 1 and 2. But the chapters in this book repeat the same information constantly within the same chapter, essentially filling up valuable space. If you read Chapter 40 - Hygiene, they will constantly address Diabetes and chemotherapy as conditions that affect the patient's ability for proper hygiene but do not give any other examples of illnesses and conditions, providing little to no insight. Students purchasing this book for class, expect to read bland, stale, and repetitive information over and over again to the point that you will have a hard time distinguishing the important points and objectives of the chapter. The publisher and author(s) need to have a sit down and learn to synthesize the information in a clearer manner and find a way to better convey the information to students/readers. In my opinion, I think the author(s) was repeating information to either fill space. If the repetitive information is taken out, chapters could easily be 10-15 pages shorter. I am highly disappointed in the author and publisher.
This book is full of repetitive fluff, which makes it come off as boring. Once you get used to your teachers style, though, you will learn how to weed out some of the useless information. The problem is the textbook tries to make everything sound important, but it’s just hyperbole that will never be relevant to the NCLEX nor your class quizzes/papers/exams. This book should have been less than half of its current length, proof read for errors and contradictions, and addressed information that we actually need to know.

The book came in good condition, but the book itself is so boring and constantly repeats itself it is hard to read.
It's nice not having to haul the big textbook everywhere, but not having page number makes the book way less functional. It's very difficult to find things--particularly since lots of our assignments are by page numbers.
I don't understand why they can't include the page numbers..my professors often cite or assign page numbers making this E-book very disappointing.
Speaking only to the kindle app version, it needs an update to reflect page numbers and to be able to go to specific pages. This is a frustrating experience when you’re assigned to read page numbers and the e book doesn’t recognize any. It is not helpful that everything is a location number instead of a page number.
Very hard to read, not set up like the hard copy so when my teacher assigns pages they do not correlate with the e version I think i used it 2 waste of money need the hard copy for time management
